About Pat Schena

Pat is an experienced ice hockey advisor and goaltending specialist with a background in player development, scouting, recruiting, and placement. A former Boston University Terrier, Patrick has built his career around helping goaltenders and their families navigate the often-complex path through youth hockey, prep school, junior hockey, and college hockey.

Through his work advising goaltenders, Pat has helped identify opportunities, establish realistic development plans, and connect players with programs that align with their abilities and long-term goals. His approach combines detailed evaluation of a player's game with an understanding of the recruiting landscape and the expectations of coaches at each level.

Pat has worked with goaltenders across a wide range of levels and has been directly involved in NCAA placements, USHL/CHL draft selections, prep school placements, and AAA opportunities. He believes that effective advising goes beyond simply finding a team — it requires understanding the individual player, communicating honestly with families, building relationships with coaches, and creating a clear plan for the next stage of a player's career.
